"No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves." - Amelia Earhart

The Hunger and Homelessness Committee is focused on engaging Georgia Tech with hunger and homelessness issues in the city of Atlanta and across the globe. We are actively involved in awareness events on campus and volunteering in the city to support those in need. Hunger and homelessness are major issues that are getting exacerbated as the population continues to grow and as inequality increases. They are also connected to other problems such as environmental degradation, civil unrest, and racism, and we at MOVE are committed to making a difference in our community to begin to address these issues. We collaborate with partner organizations across Atlanta and seek creative ways to help our neighbors.

Below is a list of the groups with which we currently collaborate.

Atlanta Community Food Bank
Café 458
Central Night Shelter
Habitat for Humanity
Operation Christmas Child
My Brother's Keepers
