"No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves." - Amelia Earhart

Who We Are

MOVE is Georgia Tech's umbrella organization for a variety of community service and volunteer opportunities. Our organization consists of 14 committees that address various issues and provide many service opportunities throughout the year. You can make a difference in your community with nothing more than a smile and a desire to serve - no experience necessary or required!

MOVE exists to serve the community as a whole by facilitating service activities by Georgia Tech's faculty, staff, and students that will increase the participants' self worth, leadership abilities, value of diversity, and motivation to be involved in the community at large while at the same time meeting the needs of the community at large.

MOVE has been recognized for several prestigious campus awards.

There are many open positions for next year, as we are currently in the process of restructuring.
Check out the application information sheet or email Robert Johnson at rhjohnson@gatech.edu for more information.
